GCA Announces the Dismissal of the Derivative Lawsuit

LAS VEGAS -- June 15, 2009 -- Global Cash Access Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) (NYSE:GCA), the gaming industry’s payments leader, today announced that the United States District Court, District of Nevada, has dismissed with prejudice as to all defendants the derivative action originally filed on December 12, 2007.  The derivative action was commenced by a stockholder on behalf of the Company against certain of the Company’s current and former directors and the Company’s former chief executive officer and former chief financial officer.  The plaintiffs have a right to file an appeal the court’s decision.
