Galaxy's Flagship StarWorld Hotel and Casino First in Macau Region to Offer GCA Cash Access Products

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 19, 2006--Global Cash Access, Inc. (GCA), a leading provider of cash access products and related services to the gaming industry, announced today that Galaxy Casino, S.A. Macau operations will begin using the products and services of GCA (Macau) S.A., a wholly-owned subsidiary of GCA.

Galaxy Casino, S.A. is a leading operator of casino, hotel and entertainment facilities in Macau. In October, it opened its flagship property, StarWorld Hotel and Casino, the first casino in Macau to agree to use GCA's cash access products. Under this agreement, StarWorld Hotel and Casino will incorporate an array of GCA's products and services over the coming months.

The GCA products and services Galaxy Casino, S.A. will offer are expected to include:

QuikCash Plus(TM) Web, a proprietary browser-based, full service cash access transaction processing system for casino cashier operations. It processes multiple financial transactions through one device, streamlining operations and increasing the speed of transactions.

QuikCash(TM) cash advance terminals, which are customer-activated, touch screen terminals that provide casino patrons with point-of-sale (POS) debit card and credit card cash advance transaction options. Available in kiosk, countertop, wall-mount, free-standing and handheld models, QuikCash terminals can be installed virtually anywhere in a gaming establishment.

3-in-1 Enabled QuickJack(TM) Plus, a multi-function patron kiosk that incorporates GCA's patented "3-in-1" rollover functionality for cash access into self-service kiosks for slot ticket redemption services provided by NRT Technology Corporation.

Central Credit, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GCA and the leading source for gaming credit information, with a proprietary database of gaming patron credit history and transaction data on millions of gaming patrons worldwide. To allow gaming establishments to improve their credit-making decisions, Central Credit offers a variety of tools, including underwriting of gaming patron credit requests, pre-approved credit screening and gaming credit reports.

EDITH (Electronic Debit Interactive Terminal Housing), a compact kiosk placed at the end of a row of slot machines to allow casino patrons to purchase slot, or ticket-in ticket-out (TITO), vouchers with their debit card. EDITH is reliable and simple to use. Patrons simply insert and remove their debit card, enter their personal identification number (PIN) and request an amount. Upon approval of the transaction, a bar-coded slot voucher is then dispensed from EDITH's voucher printer. An optional receipt is also provided upon the patron's request. The bar-coded slot voucher may then be inserted into a TITO-enabled slot machine or redeemed at a cashier station.
